Thanks for all your support when I launched my Pia Thanks for all your support when I launched my Piano Ma'am alter ego yesterday. Just for fun I thought you might get a kick out of a sizzle reel I put together of some of my pop work. I never would have known how much this piano bar work would have solidified my musical career. I left for my first cruise ship contract in October 2000 and playing 6 night a week for 4-6 hours a day taught me how to work a crowd, how to pace my chops and how to commit these songs into my body and soul. I feel so incredibly privileged to be able to live my life as a jazz bandleader and sidemusician while also getting to indulge in my piano bar guilty pleasures. I'm playing at bars, nursing homes, retirement residences, private parties, restaurants and concert venues.
